One of the Greatest Fundraising Events of the Year!
The Charity Guild accepts The Feinstein Challenge to End Hunger during the months of March and April of every year.
This year, people like you contributed $9,430 in cash in the name of the Feinstein Challenge!
How Does It Work?
Alan Shawn Feinstein, a philanthropist in Cranston, RI, divides $1 million annually among anti-hunger agencies nationwide.
Anti-hunger agencies have fundraising drives from March 1st to April 30th to end hunger in the name of The Feinstein Challenge.
All the agencies make a report to The Feinstein Foundation showing proof of money and food donated for the Feinstein Challenge.
The Feinstein Foundation divides $1 million among all of the qualifying agencies, proportionately to the amount of money raised by each agency.
So you see, the more you donate to The Charity Guild in March and April, the more of the $1 million we will receive from The Feinstein Foundation!
2012's Feinstein Challenge to End Hunger
For the 15th consecutive year, Alan Shawn Feinstein is dividing $1 million among anti-hunger agencies nationwide, using it as a spur to raise funds during March and April.
The Charity Guild is very fortunate to be among the anti-hunger agencies to receive a grant.
The Feinstein Challenge has become very important to The Charity Guild's annual food budget. We will continue to participate in every Feinstein Challenge to End Hunger... with your help!
