Holiday Helpers

Each year, The Charity Guild experiences an increase in food pantry clients during the especially challenging winter months. What are some of the ways you can help?

Host a coin & dollar drive or food drive at your company or holiday gathering. Because of The Charity Guild’s partnerships, we can often stretch a dollar further than you purchasing food at retail stores. Our food storage can be limited, so monetary donations allow us to stock up at the right time to have fresh foods available when they’re most needed. We can provide signage and a collection jar for your coin & dollar drive.

With that said, food drives are always welcome! To ensure equity, we always strive to provide clients who arrive at the food pantry the same day with the same foods. We’ll provide a list of most-needed foods for you to host a holiday food drive.

Contact donate@thecharityguild.org to set up your drive.

Helping Hands, Warm Hearts

A project that’s led by The Beanery and Vertec, this holiday gifting program benefits residents at Caffrey Towers in Brockton. You can donate a gift by choosing a tag at The Beanery in Easton. Vertec helps deliver the gifts, and The Charity Guild provides holiday meals for up to 300 residents. After the 2024 program, one resident shared in a thank you note: “It has been over 15 years since I had a winter coat. Blessings to you.”
