Our Impact

True to our belief that Food Is Love, our work here everyday is committed to fighting hunger. Serving more than 23,500 individuals a year, The Charity Guild now operates two (2) Emergency Food Pantries in Brockton, MA. Our main facility is located downtown on Main Street and our new on-campus location for students is inside Brockton High School.

Throughout the last three years, we have watched Food Insecurity grow at an alarming rate here in our community. It is devastating to see that the number of people needing our help has nearly doubled.

In response to this distressing need, our focus remains fixed on increasing access to food by providing;

• Additional Food Pantry hours
• An expanded Home Delivery Program for seniors and those who are homebound
• A new Food Pantry for students at Brockton High School
• An increased amount of healthy food that we distribute each week

Every month, our team distributes as many as 30,000 pounds of nutritious foods. The list of food includes but is not limited to; fresh eggs, cheese, milk, bread, chicken, beef, turkey, whole grain cereal, rice and beans, peanut butter, juice, low sodium canned goods, fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. 

With food costs at a shocking all time high, we need your help to keep our shelves and refrigerators stocked with the food that our local families need.  Requests increase daily and are often emergency situations. Without question, we count on the charitable hearts of our friends and generous donors to support our mission to serve those in need.

At The Charity Guild, we believe FOOD IS LOVE. We believe to feel nourished is to feel cared about. Food brings love, comfort, and encouragement about the possibilities of tomorrow. We are deeply passionate about our mission and, without your support, we will not reach our goals and many will continue to struggle and suffer from Food Insecurity. 

We do not have a Brockton residency requirement. All are welcome.
